Gift-Wrapping Loop

An elf must wrap 10 presents. Each present needs the same 4 steps. Write a program with a LOOP so the elf does not have to write the steps 10 times.

  1. Write the 4 wrapping steps once: cut paper, fold, tape, add bow.
  2. Wrap them in a repeat: repeat 10 [ ...steps... ].
  3. Act it out with a partner counting the loops.
  4. What changes if there are 25 presents? How many words did you change?

Level up: Grades 3-8: Some presents are fragile. Add IF fragile THEN add bubble wrap inside the loop.
